The stars want you to know what your reward is for a lot of the stuff you do. They want to tell you what wonderful things you can expect for being noble and true. What glorious prize you get for compassion, understanding, empathy, charity, unconditional love, selflessness, and being there for others. They want to list the amazing gifts you will receive and how you will get paid back in full for being that one special person everyone can count on for support and that unique and beautiful thing you possess by the grace of God.
You most likely will get nothing. The people you help will be too damaged or selfish to give the same things back to you. They will see you as a giver, and thus feel justified in only taking, because that's how they think it is supposed to work.
No, you will most likely never get back any of the things you give away. Most people won't even recognize what it is. So does that mean you'll end up with nothing?
The stars want you to know that's never the case. Sometimes we are just as bad at not recognizing gifts. You will have made a difference in people's lives. You will have given them a little something that maybe they can cling to when you're no longer there and they don't want to go on. That alone should give you the gift of knowing you matter, and you are capable of loving and caring and being true to who you are.
And that should bring you peace, and peace is something very few people in this world ever have the opportunity to experience. That is your gift, the solace of knowing you do the right thing, not because you expect compensation from the people you help, but because that's just what you do. Being able to live with yourself and love who you are. It's much more rare than you think.
That is your gift.

You might sometimes feel like you try to do the right thing, only to be punished for it. The stars know that the world is full of people too damaged to appreciate love or what it takes to put others first, so our love goes wasted. We try to reach them, but there are times when we just can't.
It can break your heart to do so much for people and to have it only bring you scorn and pain.
What you have to understand is that even though some people might never truly understand the gifts you give them, others can see it. Only by being true to who you are and staying the course are you going to find people that do appreciate all you bring to the world, and who will cherish you for it.
When you give love and selflessness to the world, you're not only doing it to help and to heal others, you are doing it to help and to heal yourself, whether you know it or not.
And that's how the world gets better and that's how you find happiness.

Today's Horoscope All signs: The stars want to remind you that there's a lot of love in the world if you just take a moment to look. There's joy and happiness everywhere; an ocean of it, in fact. An ocean of love that somehow many of us manage to not see. Even in the face of injustice and misery, in spite of every evil and sadistic plan some might have in place, goodness blooms. You simply need to want to see it, and you will. Every single moment, billions of oppressed and downtrodden people find a reason to smile and share a laugh. Each second, somewhere there are people in agony and distress, and still they are kind, and they get that kindness back. The world is full of people, bereft and heartbroken, crushed beneath the wheel and struggling against the odds. Yet they still find some reason to believe, and they go on, and they do it without losing their love and empathy and their humanity. They care for their children and families and friends, and they help when they can, and they somehow manage to put others first despite what they are living with. They refuse to accept that there's nothing good left. They refuse to give in and stop living just because part of their world has crumbled. They will not make the world worse for others because someone or something made it worse for them. And they find laughter and happiness, and they pass it on, and that's why there's an ocean of love in the world. Because why would we ever choose to live without one?
