The stars think you should express yourself. They also think you should learn how to express yourself.
When people don't get what we're saying, or misinterpret our position, some of that might be on them. People are good at being obtuse and willfully ignorant. They might not be ready for who you are, or intimidated. They might be stubborn, insecure, defensive, or just have a hard time seeing other viewpoints.
A lot of it is on you, though. If a politician or advertiser isn't reaching people with their message, they don't just keep repeating themselves and turning people off. They tweak their message. They don't change their beliefs or product, they just frame their points differently, and come at it from a different perspective.
Everyone is different, and not everyone is going to respond the same way to the same image or message you present. Words have power, learn which ones trigger the right responses in the people you're engaging. Different situations require different appropriate appearances, so if you're not looking to just make people angry, choose when and where you want to make a statement.
The stars want everyone to be who they are, and express the way they think and feel. That also comes with a risk. You might find that what you believe is wrong, or how you feel is damaging, to yourself and others. That is how we learn who we are, though. That is how we grow. Sometimes you're right, sometimes you're wrong.
The only way you're going to figure that out is when you express yourself.
