Figure out who is on your side, and trust them.
Recognize when your decisions are based on fear or anger rather than on reason and common sense. Balance your emotions with logic.
Examine and reexamine yourself, and stop punishing yourself and others for things in the past. Realize that we often blame ourselves for things that are out of our control, or not our fault. Learn to let go.
Take stock of your life like you would a budget or a business. Get rid of the things that cost you too much, or bring you no return on your investment. Stop throwing good capital after bad, whether the capital is money or time or love.
If there's something that you think will make you happy, do it. If there's someone you think is special, tell them. Consider your past regrets, and vow to not have any more in the future.
Don't be afraid to be happy. Don't disregard your needs. Don't toss away your dreams so casually.
Don't forget that there is love and beauty all around you, and that people do care, and most of the time all you have to do is reach out your hand. Sometimes you get a kick in the teeth, that's true, but more often than not you get a return on your investment. If not, review the things you are investing in, and adjust accordingly.
There are a multitude of simple answers that are hard to follow through on. There are a multitude of things you know you should be doing, but you just can't help fucking it all up anyway. But you're not the only one, and you get more than one chance. You know all that, too, but sometimes that knowledge still won't quell all the anxiety and dread and turmoil, and it overtakes you again.
The stars want you to know that you're never alone, and when you go out in the night and look up at them, there are millions of other people looking at the same stars you are.
Some are in love, some are heartbroken. Some are still searching, some have found their home. Some are terrified, some are safe and warm in the arms of love. Some are bent, some are broken, some are defiant, some are standing tall. Some feel as if they have the world on a string, and some feel like they can't go on another moment.
In other words, they all feel like you have at some point in their lives, yet here they are, looking towards the sky, contemplating the world they inherited, as well as the world they made, and still, they go on.
Just like you.
The stars want you to look to them, and remember that it's going to be alright.
