Today's Horoscope

Some days, even the stars just can't see the good in the world. Some days, all the cruelty and indifference of people is too much. Sometimes the stars feel just like we do, and they wonder if there's any point to all of it.
Like the stars, we are all burdened with knowledge. We all have our own wisdom, and we all see the signs. We all have those who depend on us, and there is precious few moments when none of them are in crisis. Then we have our own crises to deal with.
There is no shortage in the world of hammers to beat you down, and blades to apply a million tiny cuts. There are traps waiting to spring and pits for us to fall into. In short, it's easy to be overwhelmed by the pain and darkness the world and its people inflict on us.
On those days, just like most of us, the stars still come out, they still shine, even if it's simply going through the motions. They know that it's only temporary, and usually sooner rather than later, things will turn around and get back to normal. And they will, have no fear.
It's just that you might have to find all the resolve and strength within yourself to keep moving, even when it's the last thing you want to do. There are always going to be times when you are reminded that no matter who loves you, that all you will have is you, and you have to recall that you've always risen to the occasion. Maybe not as heroically as you like, maybe not as quickly as you should have, but you made it through, and you will again.
That's why the stars want you to know that they are proud of you. That's why they try to get you to remember your victories. That's why they keep pointing out all the good and wondrous things about you.
Because no matter how many people you have in your life that care, no matter how much your family and friends want to be there for you, there are always those moments when it's only going to be you. You are going to struggle on your own, with things you can't even put into words.
There are times when the only person you have to count on is you, and the stars need you to know that person isn't going to let you down. They need you to remember just how strong you really are.
So don't be afraid during the dark times. You will make it. Then the stars, and everyone and everything good in your life, will still be waiting on the other side to welcome you back from the wilderness, into the arms of love.
