Where it stole the thing that made you happy. When it cruelly and indiscriminately left you out in the cold, when you needed the warmth most.
That doesn’t mean you should shrivel up and die. It doesn’t mean you should live in fear of it happening every time. We often talk ourselves out of even trying for happiness, simply because the world knocked us down a few times.
The world will continue to deny you some of the things you want at times, that will never change. Denying them yourself before you even try is just giving up and ensuring failure. In the end all you will be left with is questions and regret, unfulfilled and tormented.
