The stars want you to realize that while many of us live with the constant fear of failure or pain as a possibility, just as many times we are as apprehensive about success and happiness. There are times we are all afraid to be happy.
That is actually another trick our mind plays. It is the same fear of failure in disguise. We are afraid to believe in happiness. We feel like a fool when we have hope, and then it is taken away from us. We think it is safer not to hope, and we look cool or pragmatic when we allow our cynicism and negativity to call the shots. All we are doing is setting ourselves up for failure, the failure we dread in the first place.
Life is about risks and failure. Wisdom comes from doing it wrong until you get it right. Visionaries, great artists or inventors, or nearly anyone who makes their mark or changes the world, does it by fearlessly attempting the difficult or impossible. Then one day, they figure it out and accomplish everything they dreamed of.
Meanwhile, the stars aren't expecting anyone to change the world. They just want you to be capable of living in the moment at times. To simply enjoy your tiny victories as they happen, not be consumed by the past or terrified of the future.
The past is gone, and if you believe that all the world holds is the same exact outcome you've already experienced, what's the point? The world is full of variations and diversity, and different outcomes are pretty much guaranteed. Focusing on the negative only gives you a negative target, so that's where you will navigate towards.
Meanwhile, you will speed past your well deserved happiness and joy, lost in thought and fear, headlong into the misery you fear so much.
That's a self-fulfilling prophecy, and we humans are very bad at predicting the future, that's why prophecies are best left to the stars.
