The stars want you to realize how brave you really are. We tend to fixate on the times we didn't do the thing we wanted, or spoke up because our insecurities or fears got the better of us. We focus on those incidents to convince ourselves that we are cowards and that we are weak. Then, the next time we hesitate, we are lost.
Meanwhile, we all do so many things without a second thought that might scare the hell out of anyone else. Most people who view themselves as frightened and anxiety riddled will think nothing of going to work and doing a job that would intimidate most of us.
Some people are dealing with situations that would cripple others. Monetary issues, medical issues, relationship issues, work issues, mental health issues. The list goes on and on. Everyday living takes bravery.
We gain confidence in things we are familiar with. The more we do them, the less frightened we are. When something needs to be done we do it, and we find it's not so scary after all. Then we discount the bravery it took to accomplish it in the first place.
So the stars recommend that if something scares you, go do it. You might stumble the first couple of times, but you will soon find that it loses its hold over you. If you're reading this, you can take solace in the fact that nothing that scared you has killed you yet. In fact, the things that frightened you at first and you conquered now give you strength.
You are already brave, you've proved it a thousand times over. So go be brave.
