It's easier to think that the poor and minorities are criminals than to actually understand how socio-economic problems put a small percentage in those situations. It's easier to label immigrants as rapists and killers than to figure out how to integrate them into a society that seems like it doesn't have enough resources for its own citizens, even though there is more than enough wealth hoarded by a tiny segment of the population. It's easier to think homosexuality or transgender issues are evil than to put a human face on it, or admit your own feelings. It's easier to believe that women are deserving or responsible for the abuse or oppression they've been subjected to, than to admit that the male-centric society we've had for millennia is wrong.
It is easier to hate than it is to have a level playing field, to face the fear and insecurities that come with admitting someone is your equal.
The stars weep as they watch weak and damaged people wreak havoc on the world because they are simply frightened of losing some illusion of control.
The stars suggest that you work on your own self image, and be someone you can trust and believe in, rather than a hate filled coward who hates themselves more than anything.
