Take a stand. Take a stand against corruption and abuse and inappropriate behavior. Take a stand against the bullies, and the people who would manipulate or control you. Take a stand against what's wrong and evil and destructive. Take a stand against the self-serving politicians who laugh at your birthright and trample your civil rights. Take a stand against the rich and powerful, and the people in charge, who rob and cheat you, and turn you against your fellow man.
Before you can take a stand against any of that, take a stand against your own stuff. Refuse to give in to the temptation to apply one set of rules for others and another for yourself. Recognize when you are making allowances simply because you want to believe what you want to believe, rather than accept the truth.
Take a stand against all the things you tell yourself to convince yourself that everything is fine and that you're a good person, even while you feel torn and conflicted because you know the truth.
Then be that good person the stars know you are capable of being.
Then take a stand.
