You look at the things that others do to you or themselves, and you just can't understand why. You see the violence and ignorance, the corruption and abuse, the selfish and uncaring populace, and you wonder if you're the only sane person left on earth.
You feel out of place, and you wrap your arms a little tighter around yourself, and head off to work or the store or wherever you have to go, and you live with it, a stranger in a strange land.
The stars want you to understand that you do belong here, amidst all the madness and ferocious beauty. Sometimes we are just more aware of our individuality and our own grace, and the contrast with the rest of the world is a kick in the guts. There are days when we are all reminded that we are just too beautiful for this existence, and that's how it should be.
That is why everyday we strive to make the world better. It is not us that is corrupted, but the world around us. So celebrate the moments when you feel like you are the only person who can see what's important, because that means that you represent hope, and are still a light in all this darkness. Sometimes it's lonely, buts that the price you pay for being something rare and beautiful.
