So be humble, but be proud and sure of the things you are being humble about. Humility isn't about shame, it's about knowing who you are and being aware of what you have, but not having the need to throw it in people's faces. You should celebrate the things you are humble about, not be ashamed of them, and anyone who tries to make you feel that way does not have your best interests at heart. The very fact that you are being humble means you must be pretty awesome at something. Don't let others, or yourself, ever make hit think it's a bad thing.
